Michael Murphy III

Michael Murphy III is a Hip Hop artist based out of the Seacoast area of New Hampshire. With influences such as Rakim, Styles P, Jurassic 5, Method Man, Tech N9ne, and many more; Michael Murphy III’s style is reminiscent of 90’s and early 2000’s Hip Hop, with his own unique twist. From versatile styles to various flows MM3 provides an authentic experience to his listeners with each release. 

Michael Murphy III has been writing Hip Hop lyrics since 2006. Though he’s been sharpening his sword for so long, it wasn’t until 2019 that he actually began to hit stages and became a part of his local Hip Hop scene. In 2020, Michael Murphy III released his first official project under his initial stage name, “Mo’ Flow.” From 2020 to 2022 MM3 (as Mo’ Flow) released a total of 4 full projects, multiple singles, performed at close to 60 shows, as well as, coordinated and performed at the first ever Hip Hop show at Delta Dental Stadium, the official stadium of the Manchester Fisher Cats.

For multiple reasons, both personal and professional, Michael Murphy III had come to the decision that he was no longer going to be using the name Mo’ Flow in 2023. This decision led to his debut album as Michael Murphy III in 2024 titled, “3:1.” Produced entirely by Byron G, the 15-track album 3:1 was definitely MM3’s comeback. It’s evident throughout 3:1 that Michael Murphy III has grown as an emcee and is most certainly a force to be reckoned with.
