Thirteen13all

Hip-Hop/Rap

ThirteenBall, stylized Thirteen13all, is a rapper and Audio Engineer out of New Hampshire. He was introduced to rap at a early age by a well-meaning cousin, who thought it appropriate to introduce the art of poetic emceeing to a still developing mind.

From then on 13 was hooked. He began scribbling original lyrics in a notebook he carried everywhere. His earliest songs took inspiration from tough family life, and the inner, as well as external, battles of darkness and light. This would continue its relevance along with his involuntary keen observations of all scenarios and human interactions around him.

At age 13, he bought a cheap USB mic for his computer and recorded his first demo track, “Crazy Kingdom.” 13 released that track locally to mixed criticism. Much derision from folks who said he couldn’t be a white rapper.

In Summer 2009, during an internship at a film/video production company in Youngstown, Ohio, Thirteen13all got his first exposure to professional audio engineering. During that gig, he taught himself how to use high-end audio gear to mix tracks.

Upon his arrival home, he had gained the attention of a notorious local organization Blac October, headlines by Quiet Akillez. Only in his mid-teens at the time, he was very grateful for the opportunity and knowledge. From long nights recording and mixing, furthering his craft and learning some new tricks of the trade, to putting him on on stage for the first time as Quiets hype man, to later doing his own sets for the first time. The time they spent together truly helped set the foundation of 13 as an artist and engineer.

Some years went by, and he continued to work on himself as 13, and eventually moved back out to Ohio. While out there, he lost his grandfather who was truly his father and mentor in life, and a key glue to his family. This set them all in a dark moment, of which forced him back home. Everything resulted in the music on the back burner for some time. He was drawn back.

After setting up his studio on a more practical level, and joining up with his “brother” Clewless to form the duo Apollotiks, he was reintroduced to an old buddy, Just For Kicks (JFK) who had similar ambitions as them, along with a few others. Clew told JFK about an idea 13 has had in his head for a long time. It was to create a brand, Minds of One Collective Genius (see MOCG About). The two vowed partnership in MOCG to build the idea into reality.

Apollotiks put out their debut project, A Tale of Two Gemini, followed by some really awesome shows. Countless songs and projects we recorded by 13 to be put out by JFK. On Friday, April 13th. 2018, Thirteen13all put out his debut solo album entitled Eihwaz, after the 13th Rune. It is a very introspective project based on many experiences in his life, and just view points and emotions on different topics, all self recorded and mixed. Physical copies are stocked, but also available on major platforms. Just search: Thirteen13all Eihwaz MOCG Media.

MOCG continued to grow with countless artists and shows every year, but with the eruption of the Covid pandemic, everything came to a quell. The team took this time to regroup and build themselves a studio they’ve always talking about. A MOCG headquarters was born. They didn’t stop there, in 2021, JFK was booked onto a national tour with Chris Webby amidst the pandemic, and him and 13 set off together hitting 19 major cities.

Since the world returning, 13 has focused on building his life and MOCG, and is set to start releasing music again in 2025.
